I’ve been to a lot of libraries in my life, but none of them have looked like this.

Jennie Fresa’s Beauty Library is a beautiful place filled with one of my favorite colors, turquoise. It’s the year of turquoise you know, so this is right in fashion.

I stopped by the “library” to talk to Jennie about her business and left feeling pampered just taking in the atmosphere.

Her beautiful shop is housed in a 1700′s home which is on the National Historic Landmark in the town of Clinton, Connecticut. Right there is the price of admission.

Jennie has painstakingly put this place together from top to bottom and hired a wonderful team of beauty experts to do their magic on you whether it be for a wedding, a party, a funky photo shoot, a day of beauty, whatever, they’re ready for you.

Jennie has worked with some of the best make-up artists in New York City and has brought her know-how back to Connecticut, thank heavens.

Jennie is no bigger than a moment, but is filled with energy and passion for making people feel beautiful. She’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, you’ll feel that way about her too when you drop by.

Jennie has developed her own line of makeup. When you see it in the shop you’ll want to play in it, just like I was tempted to do, but controlled myself.

Jennie told me she is just getting started with her Beauty Library that there is a lot more coming this fall, that you’re going to hear about. She did tip me off to a few things, but for now my lips are sealed. Suffice it to say, it’s a fun place to be.

I have such respect for small business in our state, starting it, growing it, realizing a passion, and Jennie is right on the mark. Drop by and see.
