Connecticut’s Singing Historian

You say you need to know about Connecticut’s history all the way back and find out about a lot of gems you didn’t know about, well then you need to consult Walter Woodward. Woodward is the Connecticut state historian and also an associate Professor of History at the University of Connecticut.

Oh, there is so much to learn about the Constitution State, and Woodward is just the guy to uncover all of that for you.

Woodward is quite the story.  He was born in Europe, Vienna. He was a folksinger-songwriter who produced hits that you heard on the radio. He was in advertising for a time and one eight Cleos, the Academy Awards of advertising. This multi-faceted guy is the keeper of the state’s history. He is a delight and many call him a Connecticut treasure.
