Nutmeg Junction Pulls Into Imagine Nation

imagine nation 1

Imagine what it would be like to be on TV and anchor the sports broadcast on ESPN!

Imagine a play area with a rock climbing wall, slide and a water table!

Imagine enjoying ice cream at a 1940’s soda fountain!

You don’t just have to IMAGINE the fun; you can head to Bristol, Connecticut and enjoy the time yourself! Tony the trolley rolled to One Pleasant Street, Bristol, CT and discovered Imagine Nation, a hands-on children’s museum!

The kids ran immediately upstairs to the slide, rock climbing experience; then they enjoyed a water table with some “fishing”. On the top floor they took an imaginary “rocket ride”.  A big hit was the TV experience as they pretended to be ESPN sports anchors!

The first floor has plenty of hands-on activities where they can build, explore sights and sounds and learn some science as they’re having fun!

No stop would be complete without a visit to the soda fountain and having an ice cream and we sure enjoyed the flavors as a piano player played some fun favorite songs!

Learn about this wonderful children’s museum!

I know, Bonnie! If you check out the “behind the scenes” blog post I did on the nutmegjunction.com site, you can see the kids having fun there!

Also, check out the quick animation I created about the trip.
This is very crude, 39 seconds but you get the idea of where we can go from here!
