Nutmeg Junction is On Display!

1501483_607894209277797_4120379_oWe’re excited to announce that the artwork of Nutmeg Junction will be showcased at the very robust Silas Bronson Library in Waterbury, Connecticut. Affectionately known as the Brass City, Waterbury is home to many of the Nutmeg state treasures such as the Mattatuck Museum, the historic Palace Theatre, The Carrie Welton GreenFountain Fountain on the green, The Timex Museum and many more! To commemorate the wonderful opportunity in Waterbury, we’ll be showcasing these locations with a few surprises or two in the weeks leading up to the exhibit! In this cartoon, Tony is standing near the library park and in front of the Union Station Clock Tower, a beautiful structure that recalls the Torre del Mangia found in Italy. The Metro North train is in operation and utilizes the platform here, while the building and tower is the home operations for the Republican American newspaper. We hope you enjoy visiting the Brass City with us and hope that you visit the Silas Bronson library in February.

***Network Connecticut is so proud of the originators of “Nutmeg Junction,” J. Timothy Quirk and Jessica Ponticelli. This dynamic cartoon duo is helping to push the state of Connecticut ahead by letting folks know about all the wonderful gems that surround us.
