I’m A “Little Poland” Ambassador

1622480_10151960267512504_8668274886897324161_oOn April 27th, 2014 during the annual Polish Festival in “Little Poland” in New Britain, Connecticut, I had the honor of being named a “Little Poland” Ambassador along with  J. Timothy Quirk who is the creator of Network Connecticut’s cartoon “Nutmeg Junction.” Several years back, I came to the polish section of the city to do a story with my colleague, Noah Finz about the rising of Broad Street and several years later it is back and better than ever. New shops and restaurants and  “Little Poland” is thriving again. New Britain is home to the largest Polish population in the country second only to Chicago. Nutmeg Junction was honored for it’s wonderful cartoons about the area. This was a proud day for both of us!
