Mansfield’s Drive-In Movies and Flea Markets

drive_in_movie_harticle

This takes me back to when I was a kid and we went to the movie in our pajamas in the Ford stationwagon, there aren’t many of these places still around, they are hanging on for dear life, but here is a fine example of staying power. Check it out in Mansfiled, Connecticut. This is the state’s only three-screen drive-in theater with first-run current double features.Mansfield, Connecticut Drive-In Theater  This college town’s out-of-the-way three-screen drive-in is built on 10 acres surrounded by woods and farmland, it originally opened in 1954. You can channel that past by bringing a blanket for some private time on the grass—or have a picnic of clam fritters and homemade birch beer. Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mansfield-Drive-in-Theatre-Marketplace/175967965783514
