Connecticut’s Iconic Actress, Katharine Hepburn

I have written tons of blog posts on Connecticut’s own Katharine Hepburn in large part because I thought she was sensational in that she was her own person. I am a founding board of trustees member of the only theater in the world named after her in Old Saybrook, The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, or as we affectionately call it “The Kate.” I went one step further on the name-dubbing with the tag line of “It’s a gem of a place with a movie star name.” At any rate “The Kate” is about to turn five years old this fall and we have already had 1,000 shows, can you believe that? Kate was her own person, so am I. Here is an article from WNPR on their take on the wardrobe of Ms. Hepburn.
