The Shubert Theater is celebrating its 100th birthday in December 2014. This treasured nutmeg state landmark in the heart of New Haven, Connecticut has showcased theatrical legends over the years from Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Katharine Hepburn and Gene Kelly to Robert Redford, Shirley MacLaine, Sidney Poitier and Liza Minnelli. The musicals you know and love like “My Fair Lady,” “Oklahoma” and “Sound of Music” all had their world premiere at the Shubert Theatre.
