Connecticut’s Hungry, The Numbers Are Going Up
Connecticut is a state of about 3 million people. Did you know that half a million people are so called “food insecure?” Think about that for a moment. Connecticut Food Bank President and CEO, Nancy Carrington says her organization handed out 17 million meals last year, a record number, and many of the recipients were children.
