A Connecticut War Hero Turned Actor, Kevin Lacz

Kevin Lacz is an American hero from Middlefield, Connecticut who is now an actor. His movie “American Sniper”starring Bradley Cooper and directed by Clint Eastwood is nominated for 6 Academy Awards.  Lacz, a former navy seal, did two tours of duty in the middle east and was brought on to the movie to get the story right about his friend, the late Chris Kyle who has been dubbed the most lethal sniper in U.S. history. It was Bradley Cooper who said, put Lacz is the movie. “American Sniper” is the highest grossing war movie in U.S history.

Kevin Lacz enlisted shortly after a friend’s father was killed in the attacks on our country on 9-11 and brought home two commendation medals, a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal and a bronze star. Kevin, a father of two, came to the studio with his beautiful wife, Lindsey and his Dad, Pete. Here is Kevin’s story.
