Connecticut Home Heating Company Gives Back

Dutch_Oil_Co_LogoMy Grandfather, Chester Waggoner, ran a home heating business back in South Bend, Indiana for decades. He and his father opened Waggoner Fuel Company in 1957, first with coal and then with oil. I get what this is all about. My Grandpa Chet gave back a lot because it’s important. He made service calls at 90 years old because he cared about his customers. This is idea being put forth by the Dutch Oil Company is wonderful, so enter someone today. The irony in this is that “Chet” married at gal named Anna who was “Dutch.” My Grandmother’s parents were from the Netherlands.

“This year has been extremely difficult for some people struggling to keep the heat on in their home. Even when the cost of oil is down, heating system repair costs can cause financial stress for some. It has been one of the coldest winters that we can remember in CT putting a great strain on heating equipment and potentially causing costly repairs.

As this brutally cold winter draws to an end we want to bring some warmth into the hearts of our neighbors. We are proudly giving away a new heating system to someone in our community in need of this. Help us by searching your heart and nominate a deserving person or family who would benefit by having a newly upgraded and dependable heating system installed at no cost to them.

Dutch Oil Co., Inc. & Dutch Propane, LLC is proud to give back to the community we work and live in.  Together with your help we can make a difference in the lives of a deserving family.  Please send us the name, address and phone number of a deserving family who would benefit from a new home heating system installed for free.  Along with their names and contact information please explain why you feel they are deserving of this free gift. Once all of the entries are made, one candidate will be announced as the recipient of the installation.

It has been one of the coldest and longest winters that we can remember having here in CT.  Let’s bring some warmth to someone deserving of this free gift.  Thank you for taking the time and helping to make a difference.

Let’s make a difference by helping our neighbor in need. Thank you in advance for your entries. Please follow the link below for details on how to qualify and enter. Together we can make a difference. – Bruce Dutch
