As a dog lover, I think this it’s pretty darn awesome to have Claudia here in the state. Check out Naturally Pawsitive. Mr. Trip Meeshu and Henry Watson have to be constantly trained. They’re doing pretty well in this shot below because treats are involved.

Claudia offers customized in-home training, using force-free, positive dog training and behavior modification methods. She is a graduate with distinction from Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior (KPA) and has over seven years of experience training dogs.

After many years of involvement in dog-related activities, Claudia decided the best way she could make a difference in the dog and human world was to become a professional certified dog trainer. Keeping dogs and humans together in their homes by teaching them how to relate and communicate with each other is the key to keeping dogs out of shelters and pounds.

Claudia believes that it is extremely important to give back to the community. She volunteers through Therapy Dogs International and holds the Certified Advanced Therapy Dog designation with her Bichon, Zack. Together they have more than 100 confirmed visits with assisted living facilities. Claudia is also is a mentor to new therapy dog-handler teams. In addition to her therapy dog work, Claudia volunteers professional services at Dog Days Adoption Events, evaluating dog and human partnerships, conducting dog behavior evaluations and providing dog behavioral training to the team of volunteers that handles more than 100 dogs per event. She has also volunteered for multiple dog search-and-rescue organizations.
