Shell & Bones Bar & Grill In New Haven
Well this is fun! When I moved to Connecticut nearly 30 years ago there was a place called the Chart House which was a lot of fun to go to, and then it became the Sage American Grill & Oyster Bar and as of this spring it will become Shell & Bones Bar and Grill at New Haven’s, City Point. The name is a play off of one of Yale University’s secret societies called “Skull & Bones” of which many famous men are members including former President George W Bush. Very nicely played on the name of the new eatery.
I can’t wait to see the decor here, construction is well underway. Shell & Bones is the brainchild of local restauranteurs Mark Knight and Robert Bolduc of Geronimo’s, and his partners and they have brought in Executive Chef Arturo Franco-Camacho for the new steak and seafood restaurant. Franco-Camacho is formerly the chef at Roomba and Bespoke in the Elm city.
