Tasty Kale Chips, Made In Connecticut

Kale Chips? This was my first go ’round with tasting this food, but I like it, a lot. So far they come in five flavors, but there will be more variations to come. In 2011 two Connecticut guys, one in the insurance business, Larry Brownstein and the other in web design, Tom Brophy started eating Kale chips as part of a weight loss program and ended up forming a company around the food.

Brownstein and Brophy started their Woodbridge company and it’s called Tasty Kale…the two of them not only make the product but they’re the sales team too. Tasty Kale is already in Stop and Shop and Whole Foods and other smaller markets.
