THE GEORGE FLYNN CLASSICAL CONCERTS PRESENTS:

JUPITER SYMPHONY CHAMBER PLAYERS

SUNDAY, June 7th at 4:00 PM

William Stanton Andrews Memorial Town Hall, Clinton CT

Clinton, CT. On Sunday, June 7th, The George Flynn Classical Concerts series is proud to present the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players. The chamber music group was created in January 2002 as a living tribute to Jens Nygaard, the conductor of the Jupiter Symphony who died in 2001.  New York Times critic Anthony Tommasini gave his consent, calling it “a fitting series.” The New York Sun proclaimed it “one of the city’s cultural jewels.”

The Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players celebrates a legacy that denotes musical excellence, gives performance opportunities to outstanding musicians, and imparts a love of and enthusiasm for music through interesting and unusual programs of pieces in the standard repertoire, and especially works by lesser-known composers that deserve to be heard.

The Sunday, June 7th concert will be held at the William Stanton Andrews Memorial Town Hall in Clinton, well known for its excellent acoustics. Tickets  can be obtained by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to George Flynn Classical Concerts, PO Box 473, Clinton, CT 06413 or calling 860-669-1208.
