The Camera Is His New Obsession
Kristofer Rowe is a chef who put down the bottle and picked up a camera and is winning awards for his magnificent photos of birds along the shoreline of Connecticut.
In 2010, at age 37, and an alcoholic, he developed pancreatitis. He lived thru it and stopped drinking.
Rowe talks about his new addiction, photography, that he says has saved his life. Rowe will be sober five years this September. He is also now aligned with a wildlife rescue group in Killingworth called “A Place Called Hope.”
