Old Lyme’s “Musical Masterworks”
Do you love chamber music? Well then you need to know about “Musical Masterworks” now in its 25th year in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Performances are set inside the First Congregational Church in town where the classics echo inside a church which was founded in 1665. President, Alden Murphy and Artistic Director, Edward Arron came on NYBERG to talk about the music and the venue and we got a little taste of the kind of music heard. Arron gave us a taste of his talents on a cello crafted in Milan, Italy which dates back more than 350 years.
