Love Wins!  I love this family and they are building a beautiful evening around their daughter Ana Grace. You will love being a part of this. It is A Celebration of Food and Music to benefit The Ana Grace Project featuring internationally recognized French chef, television personality and author Jacques Pépin; Grammy Award-winning vocalistKurt Elling; 2010 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master pianist Kenny Barron; bassist John Patitucci; drummer Lewis Nash and WCSU Coordinator of Jazz Studies Jimmy Greene on saxophone.  This event is being hosted by the WCSU Department of Music.
The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception in the lobby of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the WCSU Westside campus. During the reception, internationally recognized French chef, television personality and author Jacques Pépin will participate in a question-and-answer session. At 8 p.m.,

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Kurt Elling, 2010 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master pianist Kenny Barron, bassist John Patitucci, drummer Lewis Nash and WCSU Assistant Professor of Music Jimmy Greene will perform in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall. Following the concert, Pépin will sign his book, “Jacques Pépin Heart & Soul in the Kitchen,” Claudine Pépin, wine expert and author of “Kids Cook French” will sign her book and and Jimmy Greene will sign copies of his CD, “A Beautiful Life,” during a light dessert reception.
