Connecticut Photographers Bring Life Saving Water Purification Kits To Hurricane Ravaged Puerto Rico

Two Connecticut photographers are doing their part to get clean water to the 3-million people of the hurricane ravaged island of Puerto Rico. Chelsea and Tony Northrup just returned where they saw for themselves how islanders are suffering. Chelsea has relatives there and she knew she and her husband had to do their part to help. They did a lot of research and found a portable water purification kit. They set up a crowdfunding site and raised more than 50-thousand dollars. With that money they bought Pure2Go water purification kits and modified them. They’re just two people who took it upon themselves to help. Because of the Northrup’s work on the island, government officials learned from them and ordered tens of thousands of the kits that the couple had found all on their own.
