Human Trafficking Happens Everywhere Even In Connecticut

It’s a topic that is not nearly discussed enough, human trafficking, million suffering in modern-day slavery. It goes on around the world and yes, even in Connecticut. People preying on children, mostly girls and women holding them against their will, enslaving them in the worst possible ways. Attorney, Krishna Patel, general counsel for New Canaan’s Grace Farms Foundation, is among the many creating laws which can put a stop to this. Frighteningly, Patel says we’re all unwittingly complicit in this evil practice just by the products we use everyday. Companies who may employ children as young as 4 years old in parts of the world to make what you wear or the cosmetics you wear or other products. How do you find out about these companies? Go to UNCHAIN and educate yourself.
