It’s A Gold Rush In New Haven At Yale’s Peabody Museum

One of the world’s most exquisite exhibits of gold is on display at The Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History in New Haven, Connecticut. You will find 23 stunning pieces of California gold. Most were mined over the past 25 years, though two specimens were brought out of the ground in the 1850s during the California Gold Rush.  The exhibit will be at The Peabody for a couple of years until it closes for renovations in 2020. It will reopen in 2023 and its exhibit space will be greatly enlarged.
