Will NASA Select New Haven’s Habitat For Mars?

A competition is underway right now through NASA. They’re looking fo America’s brightest to help figure out how to build sphere-like houses on Mars using 3-D printing technology and using materials that are already on the red planet…which isn’t much, but red martian soil….the place is pretty cold too. There are 18 groups across the country. Will the team from New Haven be instrumental in helping to open up the next frontier?  This is all mind-boggling to me. We wish this team well, just imagine a house built on Mars that is Connecticut-designed.  The team is designing this Mars habitat at MakeHaven in New Haven, a gathering place for makers, creators, tinkerers and dreamers. To learn more about their project go to Mars Incubator.
