“120 Years” Documentary About Wrongly Accused Man

Three Yale University students have produced a documentary called “120 Years.” It is the story of Scott Lewis, of New Haven, Connecticut. He was sentenced to life in prison for felony double murder. Murders he did not commit. Lewis ended up serving 20 years. He went into prison when he was 29 and came out when he was 48. He was framed by a rogue New Haven city detective. Lewis decided to pour himself into being freed, he built his case from behind bars, pouring over legal texts, and writing to attorneys. In the end his hard work paid off and he received a 9.5 million dollar settlement in a lawsuit. He could be bitter but he is not. This is his story.
