A Branford, Connecticut Mom Starts “Smile Anyway” After Addiction Takes Her Son.

Losing a child to addiction is gut wrenching It’s happening all too often in Connecticut. Amy Johansson’s son, Eric, died that way at the age of 24. Her family was devastated. This Branford Mother is now on a journey to help save lives so that others don’t know her pain. Johansson has formed a non-profit called “Smile Anyway,” which seeks to help those in recovery and those who have lost a child.
