Together as a community, we are holding a vigil service on the Derby Green to honor the memory of those lost and to show our support for the survivors, family and friends. We ask that everyone who wishes to attend to bring a candle. Cards, letters of support and donations for the survivors can be brought as well and we will make sure they are delivered to Sandy Hook Elementary School. This event will occur whether rain or shine, bring an umbrella if you wish. Citizens and officials from Ansonia, Derby, Seymour and Shelton have been invited and anyone is welcome to attend.
