« About Welcome to Connecticut Handmade Collective – a new platform created to promote, support & connect Connecticut’s artists, handmakers & all things local. Biography Believing strongly in collaboration over competition, The Connecticut Handmade Collective seeks to promote, support and connect Connecticut’s art and handmade communities. While the name is pretty much self explanatory, the mission of this platform is to give exposure to local artists, handmakers and all types of creatives, as well as to share art, craft, diy and entrepreneurial information and resources with our local community and to do so in a positive, uplifting, happy and supportive manner. This collective was not created to critique or criticize any artists work, nor is it a place to generate negative energy. The goal of this online space is to be a safe, bright haven for creatives, small business owners and local persons/places/things that pique my interest. That said, any negative comments that are left on this page will be immediately deleted, as there are a gabillion other sites online where one can engage in negative behavior.
