Staircases That Will WOW You

President of Hardwood Design, Inc., Bill Bivona, is the spiral staircase guy. He builds them for the everyday homeowner and for the rich and famous. As a kid he watched his Dad work with wood and he was hooked. His first project was building a boat in the basement and somewhere along the line he figured out how to build staircases which turned into spirals.   The most expensive staircase he has built to date cost $300,000.00. It went into a  home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Bivona’s business employs 20 and is housed in an old boat building in Snug Harbor, Rhode Island. Take a look.
